The ritual of the classic wet shave also includes lathering the shaving soap with a shaving brush. The soft, warm foam beats any canned foam by far - both in terms of its nourishing effect and in terms of softening the skin and protecting the skin.

Put a few drops of warm water on the soap with the shaving brush, lather it up with the brush and spread it over the areas of the face to be shaved.
